PBP - possible to ride perms as qualifiers ?

I can ride a permanent audax to qualify for this years Paris Breast Paris? My problem is I have missed all the 200k events (apart from the last one listed in yorkshire which I can't make) I have squeezed in a 300 and have the green light for a 400 and 600 but haven't done the 200.

Is it just tough luck and wait for 2015 or is there another way around?

No, you can't ride a perm.  Qualifiers must be BRM rides, which means that they're validated by Paris.  Perm validations never leave our fair isle.

Hope is not lost, though.  Longer rides can count for shorter ones, so you can ride another 300 or 400 or 600 as your fourth qualifier.

Riding more than one of the longer events is not a bad idea anyway.

I'm in Darlington (marching the Yorkshire border), and my next qualifying rides would qualify you for PBP in their own right, so it's perfectly possible.

Three Coasts 600

Qualify in style. Don't worry about the 200, 300 and 400. Just do 4 x 600km. Preferably on consecutive weekends.
