I've had a hunt around all the usual likely spots for frog's pawn but there seems to be none. My sister, whose house is only about 200 yards as the frog flies from mine, has spawn. I don't have a pond. My neighbour does and I had a nose over the wall a few times this week and there's none there.

There's been frog spawn in our neighbour's garden pond for a couple of days  I haven't caught Ninkasi trying to eat it yet, though she has had a squitty bot  :demon:

Pigeons have returned to our eaves.
I'm hoping there's no established nest there yet.
Man is coming to survey tomorrow.

The crocuses came up and were just about to open their flowers but Storm Somebody has completely flattened them  :(

Bluebells in full bloom.  In that place where they come out first every year.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

A froglet, that had somehow contrived to get into a bucket, fortunately one with water in the bottom. And a pair of young buzzards, surprisingly (as in 15-20m) low over the adjacent field.

If they were, I think Mr. Pingu would have killed them.

I was in the garden digging, raking, planting, sowing and weeding. There was a duet between a blackbird and a wren.

In Priory Park I heard the first chiffchaff of the year and saw a moorhen on her nest.

I saw the first bluebells I'd seen this year. The first just outside of Eton and a small group on the climb up harvest hill near Bourne end  :)

Today the farm hedges have long stretches with what looked like white berries as I went past.
Any idea what the bushes might be, please?
