Flicking through some old copies of Cycle magazine yesterday (lockdown entertainment... ), smiling at me from the top right-hand corner of the recent past was Barakta. On her e-assist trike complete with pirate flag.  :D And looking more closely, Kim was near by, peeping out from behind the shoulder of one David Cox, then Chair of what was still the CTC. Isn't history fun?

Cheers.

Just spotted you spotting me, Nikki!

I didn't cringe too much at the sound of my own voice. Mike's accent came across really well, I thought.

I do believe that's Butterfly referenced in this thread about the astounding fact that, actually, it is possible to ride a bike while wearing a skirt.

(I'd add that you don't even need to be a woman; I've definitely seen Indian men cycling in lungi, which is basically a wrap-around skirt but traditionally worn by Indian men.)

I spotted Tim O on Queenstown Road and then again on Tooting Common on my way home last night.

A mere 5 months later, I've noticed this! So long afterwards, I have no idea of the exact journey, although less than 1 month after this I stopped cycling to work because of the pandemic.

I'm curious how you saw me twice. Was I cycling particularly slowly, or were you sprinting past me, and then stopping for a rest? :)
Actually, it is rocket science.

Not necessarily a YACFiste, but about noon today I spotted a Fridays jersey atop a Carradice equipped tourer heading towards Crawley from Turners Hill.

Today I rode to the next village to take my grandsons for a ride around quiet fenland lanes, and give my daughter an hour's break from looking after them.

Saw Reynard from the 'other place' twice, and on the way back, an approching recumbent rider turned out to be YACFer, Marco Stefano!  :D

Delthebike, this morning. He was on foot. We nattered briefly. He's not doing a great deal of cycling atm, but more walking and running.

I'm pretty sure I saw Adrian on the Thames path around Greenwhich yesterday, but had passed him before I realised it was him.

Yesterday's planned 6x Southwick Hill intervals cut short as I saw a yacf jersey going the other way. Turned around and had a very nice chat with Pickled Onion, who I knew lived in my small market town but had never met before.
