A bus shelter, noticeboard and post box all in one. Is this the Rule of Thirds taken to its ultimate form?

Audax hotel in Telkwa BC from last year.  I suspect fakery, as:
  • it's facing a car park, not the road, and
  • the road itself is notorious for not having any buses.  On it.  Google "Highway of Tears"

Interesting granny annexe on the Romanian example. I can't decide if its inspiration is Grecian or Stonehenge!

It crossed my mind that the one in Кульчиевцьі could probably shelter the entire field of the Bryan Chapman ride.

For anyone who enjoyed those, I can recommend:

The inhabitants of a village in the Lofotens don't want to lose the roof of their bus shelter (again). And sheep can keep out.

.. whereas this bus shelter in Schleswig-Holstein is rather more welcoming. Complete with bike rack, bin, and bus timetable.

Coln Rogers non-bus stop

This would be totally unremarkable if it were actually on a road. In fact it's on a footpath somewhat out of sight of the road, but I suspect the path used to be a road.

Farmington bus stop

This one is a few miles further north. What the photo doesn't show very well is that it is octagonal. Just for good measure, the village green features an octagonal band-stand-type thing and an octagonal bench around a tree.

And if you're wondering, he did publish the book (linked in an earlier post). And a very fine book it is too.
