League code 60584684
See you all in Paris!
-
Thanks. I'm in.
-
and me.
-
in.

I confess to having entered using the cunning ploy of having two teams to double my chances. (But one of them's not really a serious choice.)
The real competition comes in the family league, but I'll be watching this one avidly, too. Thanks for setting it up, Karla.

tweaking today
zimmerman in, cav out
-
I read that as being Cav was out of the Tour!
-
Funny, I'm only seeing my team and one other in the league. Are you sure you haven't all entered a rival yacf?

I have eight in my version.

Are you looking at the Superclassico YACF league instead?

Have you? :)
Not the best day for me today, be interesting to see just how many points I score. When is it usually updated?
-
On stage 2 - which was amazing for a stage 2, velogames seems to have got the points wrong for skjelmose. He should have 110 for coming in 6th but has zero
correction: the tv (we have GCN) was wrong, he came 23rd
-
Skjelmose originally did finish 6th but he (and Bettiol) got relegated to the back of the bunch for “irregular sprinting”.

Yes, that was my mistake
-
It's pretty tight between 3rd and 6th place in the league. Anxious times :)
-
Can you still join, I forgot this year
-
You can't create a new team but you can still join the league if you did create one.

I suspect I'm going downhill as my Jakobsen/Philipsen coin toss chose Jakobsen, and Philipsen's advantage is only going to improve as Jakobsen recovers from his crash.
You're one of only three riders to choose Vingegaard though: one other has chosen Bernal and everyone else has chosen Pogacar. You're the highest placed of the three Vingegaardians, so you're at an advantage if he wins.

My team is built for distance not speed. It's a long way to Paris. 8)
Could do with a Powless/Pogacar/Pidcock 1-2-3 today mind, with Benoit Cosnefroy doing some mad French shit along the way to hoover up all the other available points.

For sure. And anything can happen :demon:

I chose Jakobsen too - not good to see him off yesterday, esp given the injuries he had to recover from.
ETA. Fabio with destroyed bike.

^^^^ would appear to require Instagram login which in my case I have not got. Though Tom Steels did mention on last night’s ITV4 highlights show that it had b0rked into three pieces.

At least the sacrificial derailleur hanger did it's job.

I doubt, however, that Van Aert will be going full gas tomorrow, at least until the final 2 km.

Just saying I'd be happy to see a Cav win today, despite him not being part of BioDoobry Paving...

close, but no cigar
-
I've shot up to 2nd today after the breakaway was mostly formed of my riders
-
C'mon Fabio...
ETA. Though not super flat today at ~ 1000mtrs/100km
ETA2 Oh well.
-
It's pretty tight in the top 7 but happy to see a few have Jakobsen and Cavendish...
-
Much as I like WvA, I’m waiting for him to go home.

Are you DurableAce?
I see that of the aforesaid top 7, Andy, Vorsprung and I have the wrong sprinters. I'm guessing we'll end up with positions 5, 6 and 7 :'(

...but also Burgaudeau :)

I could do with Benoit Cosnefroy doing some mad French shit today. Him and MVDP are letting the team down.
-
Boom. Team BioDoobry Paving had a good day... :)
-
Another good day at the BDPaving office... ;)
-
:'( Bardet
-
Well earned rest for the team today. Going for a bit of a spin, hotel spa, & some press work...

Thanks to the BioDoobry Pavings over the last 3 wks - we got there in the end. ;)
*Pogačar, A.Yates, Kuss, Hindley, Jakobsen, Pidcock, Benoot, Craddock, & Cort.

Well done andyoxon and thanks everyone for playing.
-
Finished just off the podium - bit like in life, I never did have lofty ambitions.
I notice that the top 5 finishers had all chosen Pog over Jonas!
-
Managed to snag 2nd Overall right at the end. Happy with that.
I chose Pog for my team, but not for yellow. Proved the right decision. Wish I'd chosen Philipsen over Pedersen though, they both cost 14 points.
-
Congratulations andyoxon

This year I think Pog scored White Jersey points as well as GC points. All change next year.
-
Congrats Andy.
I picked Pog for my GC, Jakobsen for my sprinter, and WVA who went home. Oops.

Btw Karla, the classico restarts with Donostia-San Sebastián on Saturday.
