Tour of Ireland
« on: 23 August, 2009, 12:52:58 pm »
Unless it's been posted under some obscure title in the depths of the forum, I seemed to have missed any postings on this year's Tour of Ireland.

Should be an interesting final day today with three climbs of the 25% St Patrick's Hill probably in the pouring rain.  I look forward to see how both Lance and Cav do on this one compared to the more usual 10% alpine type climbing.

Coverage on ITV4 tonight (Sunday) at 7pm.

[I think it's under Arts and Entz, but very quiet.]

Watched yesterday - nice scenery, quite entertaining.

Excellent advert for triple chainsets. Expect more on St Patrick's Hill. [This comment will be wasted on the likes of jwo    ;) ]

HEADS UP SPORTSFANS

Stage 2 is on ITV4 now, Stage 3 (final?) on at 19.00.
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

Are there not enough pretty girls in Ireland that they have to import them from Cardiff? One of the podium hotties was a girl from my club!
