Tomorrow - to see Kevin. I've just finished strapping the steel bands around my wallet - wish me luck.

Ahh, I feel a trip there myself in the new year, to get my Kingcycle forks sorted out. If you steel bands don't work let me know I may have to resort to drastic measures to avoid unwanted (!?!) early expenditure in the "Sweet Shop".

I think he tried out all the toys, and decided he wanted another upwrong instead, which he bought from the first Halfords he passed on the way home...

Go on - prove me wrong! ;D

did you do your Arnie "I'll be back" impression?

when you go back be sure to quote General Douglas Macarthur.." I have returned"

TTIUWP  :)

First I have to say - Kevin really lived up to his reputation - spent 4 hours with me, and nothing was too much trouble. I think I rode just about every trike he has in stock.

It turns out the steel straps were made of a similar material to the components on a Tesco special full suspension MTB. I might have accidentally, definitely not on purpose, ordered one of these.....

Best I should look after it for you. ;)

I tried one of those when I went over. Amazing handling. Someone needs to invent recumbent trike autocross; I could spend many happy an afternoon throwing one of them around a tight course in a car park.

Fortunately, my wife has banned me from lowracers and trikes, so my money is safe.

Top chap Kevin,  , spent a good hour plus speaking to me on the phone a while back trying to help me with my recalcitrant fork/headtube for the Kingcycle (still no joy in separating them yet, d@mn ), so I think if/when I head over Norfolk-way he may beguile me into something more than I need.

Maybe Clarion can give lessons in how to walk in, enjoy and walk out with same amount of dosh still in pocket!?!

(must be strong, must be strong, must be strong)

And for later ...... Happy New Year to all  ;D ;D

We met him earlier this year at Mildenhall. He is indeed a fine fellow.I was impressed by his people skills.
Mrs. jogler was very impressed with his ability to retro-fit an electric motor & new type folding rear triangle to her Trice.
When my boss mrs. jogler says I we have enough spare £ I expect to be visiting his shop

One of the impressive things about ICE machines - all mods/improvements seem to be backwards compatible.

You can always come and have a go on Regina if you like... I won't tell your wife.  ;)
