Brick Lane Bikes Hitchhiker frameset

Anyone know anything - or just have knee-jerk views on - this thing:

https://bikerumor.com/2018/05/31/brick-lane-bikes-steel-hitchhiker-frameset-is-ready-to-hit-any-road-with-any-build/#comment-3228219

Does anyone else make a frame with disc AND rim-brake mountings AND rack/fender* holes??

[If it was made out of lighter steel - with a price-hike of course - it might be a strong candidate for my new "main" bike. With a few changes of tyre on the shelf.
But in reality, for £500 I might buy one anyway as a handy workhorse ...]

One I found when I was looking for something similar a while back was the Kinesis 4S Disc frameset.

I didn't get one in the end, due to poverty, but I know a few people who have Kinesis bikes and are very happy with them.

Since you asked for knee-jerk reactions, mine are that it’s curiously heavy and the compatibility with three types of brakes is a pointless feature. Wishy-washy! Make your mind up and live with your choice, mister mattc.

I think that Jhob OTP has a 4S. It shares geometry (and fork) with the GF Ti v2 or v3. I’ve had two Kinesis frames, including the GF Ti v2 and both are excellent. I’d be looking at the 4S.

I like the fact that it takes fully enclosed rear brake cable but would prefer if it also took fully enclosed gear cables. A minor point, admittedly.

To be fair, the BLB is more like one of the Velo Orange framesets than the Kinesis, so quite a different animal. Steepish seat tube, slack headtube and no info on fork offset (though the picture looks quite long). Space for bigger tyres too.
