Have we had Tulisa Constantdross yet?  Apparently she was once voted FHM's Sexiest Woman Of The Year, which tells you all you need to know about FHM's current readership.

Said like someone who admits to being a keen FHM reader in the past.

Jeremy Clarkson (yet again)

I'll probably regret asking, but what has he done now?

I had a quick look at t'web via a search engine: I typed Jermy Clarkson. A bit of a Freudian Slip.

He didn't, did he? Stupid thing was that he'd have looked much better by giving an honest answer about what's happened so far, & then following that up with his bit about the future.

Amazing how often politicians don't realise that obvious & clumsy evasiveness is bad for their image, even among any of their supporters who aren't brain-dead.

And now, a (dis)honourable mention for Call Me Dave - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25705550

Clearly, he's obviously added bribery to his skill set.

I think we should give Gove, Osborne and Clarkson lifetime twatchievement awards to free up the thread for new nominations.

in my opinion the bloke who called in to radio 4 to complain that he can't get super fast fibre optic broadband, he has to make do with 3 or 4 mbps
poor bloke, we're lucky to get 1mbps and most of the time it's slower and there's no hope of it getting any faster IMO he is a super twat

Michael Fabricant.

It’s difficult enough to find in England people who are good maths and physics and chemistry teachers. To ask them to be bilingual as well is a nonsense.

I've known many good maths, physics and chemistry teachers who were bilingual before they were teachers. Hell, most of them, like me, were bilingual before they started school. Ignorant, arrogant Super-Twat.

Jackson Carlaw

Nope - I actually agree with his wider point.

Quote
Mr Carlaw said the robin would be a better national bird, but wondered why another national symbol was needed at all and where such thinking would end.

"Do we have a national domestic animal, a national wild animal, a national grievance?" he asked.

As for the issue of the eagle, I would agree with this comment:

Quote
"It has been a symbol of imperial power of which Scotland is emphatically not, never has been, and hopefully never will be."

Shows poor knowledge of Scots' contribution to the expansion and running of the - err - British empire.

Strange perhaps for a unionist, but on a par with Carlaw's equal lack of knowledge of German and European history, and the widespread adoption of eagles as national birds.  His comments are particularly insulting to Germany, whose eagle has been thoroughly de-Nazified, and retained as a national symbol (as it was during the Weimar republic) - and Poland, whose national bird is also an eagle.

"Why bother with a national {thing}" is a valid enough point of view that I happen not to agree with - but I'd expect Godwin's law not to apply to parliamentary committees.  I suppose that''s what comes of electing failed used-car salespersons ...

Mark Thompson - saying 'sorry' won't change the fact that £100m of taxpayers money was pissed up the wall on your watch.

EDIT: also Tim Yeo - a detestable specimen of humanity even by Tory standards.
