Some Like It Hot - a couple dancing Salsa with rose in (his!) teeth. Especially as that was just after we see Gromit dialling up "Hot" on one of those trademark illuminated dials.

Watched this shortly after the Were-rabbit film. The longer film was MUCH better. I did enjoy Loaf, but the story felt rushed - perhaps an hour is the perfect length for W&G?

The "Yorkshire - Do Not Enter" sign was a cause of much mirth, though slightly less than the "Aye-up" magazine shot from the Were Rabbit movie. Half my immediate family were born in Yorkshire - so we always like digs at the "ol' country".

Yorkshire is better than Lancashire though.

It pains me to say it, but I loved it! I gave up trying to explain stuff to my nephews (4 and 6) after about a minute, but they loved it too! Clever on so many levels (many of which no doubt went straight over my head!)

We Lancastrians got the 'Furry' reference. But the stepped rooflines on the hillside terraces are a Yorkshire thing.

It was excellent - and packed so much incidental detail into 30 minutes. I just couldn't understand why they put it on so late. It should have been on before Doctor Who...
