Should probably go on the Woodman thread - but any of you fine folks riding the Woodman?

I think we should have an ACME 'Who's Riding What' thread in 'Audax', especially as we'll be in pelotons of 6 or less for a bit. I'll get onto it asap, having entered a few and not all the usual local events.

That's a good idea

Jab yesterday at the Racecourse - no problem. Woke up this morning with a headache, flopped about a bit, did some baking, housework O:-) and a bit of gardening then fell asleep for an hour and a half after elevenses; more of the same this afternoon and an hour's walk too. I was going to do a 200km ride tomorrow, but might just go out for the morning, since it seems I am human after all ...

Hello all,
Since this has become the 'Covid jab thread', I'm happy to say that I'm in for mine on Monday. Tomsk, you are so much more than human :)

Hmm, I just tried to enter but its full up. I'm emailing to get on the reserve list. Need to do a 200 really, its been too long!

ECE the Woodman 2 weeks later?
Many thanks! Is that on the Audax site as I can't find it?
Damn, I only just got round to this and its closed! Just too unorganised.

Resting HR back to normal this morning. So apart from that, no side effects from vaccine.

When I had my jab I cycled. Afterwards I was told I would have to wait 5 mins if I had walked and 15 if I had driven. “You’ve come by bike, we’ve not had that before....you can wait 10 mins”

Didn’t have to wait at all. I’d walked to my jab centre

I have just alocated a couple of DNS places to late arrivals on my 'list'. You can be first in line if any more come up.

I’m in the next band down, having not reached my half century yet.

In other news, the Double Dutch places are going swiftly, in case anybody was looking for a 200km ride from Huntingdon on 3rd April.

The Dutch Wife and I have entered - ACME bubble anyone? You may not want to ride with us all day as our current on the road average speed is 20kph, but it will be her first 200k (220k).

Yay! just seen a message to tell me I have a place!

It seems I have double booked myself on 3rd July, so it looks like I'll be doing the Fenland Friends as a perm again this year.... hopefully not during a storm in October this time!  ;D

Grey Sheep speaks so fondly of that trip last October.

Hi, I don’t see this event, nor the Hereward 300, in the calendar events list. Am I missing something? Wouldn’t like to miss out on any panic buying spree :-)

You are missing that default search is 28 days.

Fenland Friends' companion event, Yorkshire via Essex isn't showing up yet but is in the planner. (Likewise Hereward the Wake on 28th May is pending.)

Hereward is good to go!  21:00 Friday 28th May, 50 entries as per the current rider limit on all my events. Actually I'll probably be staggering the groups-of-six starts from about 20:00, if we're still in that regime then.

Excellent, Tom.
Just got to check I can do that date and that my wife isn't doing anything (think she might be away with her friends), and I'll be doing that one!
Cheers,Nick.

Can’t make Hereward.  Technically we are going on hols for half term.  That’s provided the unlocks go as planned.

OK, I'm in and I'd appreciate the 2000 start if you don't mind, Tom.
