Title: No longer problems with BikeHike!
Post by: Russell on 17 October, 2009, 05:05:56 pm: I am having problems downloading tacks from BikeHike - they are being declared illegal by two different programs. Simon is looking into it - can someone else check to see if it just me?

But I don't think it is route dependant.

So finger trouble on my part, Bikehike is as good as it always has been. Simon is going to put in a filter to stop this happening again.

Likewise accented characters, anywhere in the gpx text.
This makes gpx embedded with 'driving directions' from Google Maps for example, for anywhere in France, especially troublesome. You usually have to search/replace é, è, and î at the very least.
