Soft Boys and David Bowie bassist Matthew Seligman has died
. Not only a terrific musician but a human rights lawyer during the day

I heard that he was very ill in hostpital, a few days ago, when I watched an online perfomance by Kimberly Rew (also of Soft Boys, Katrina & the Waves, etc).
This is the video (It was done as part of a 'Live' session) you may need to join the group to see it)

(about 3 min in)
Kimberly, and his partner, had mild virus symptoms, but the singer/frontman (Roger Smith) of one of the bands (Jack) I saw him with a couple of months ago also died of Corvid 19 a couple of weeks ago.

We saw Kimberley playing with Robyn Hitchcock last October and were surprised by his radical hairstyle change – the "scarecrow" replacing the "de-luxe Merseybeat wig" look he's had since (at least) 1976. Good to hear he's on the mend.
