I've got tickets for Scotland vs All Blacks at Murrayfield 8th November, and Scotland vs Wales for next year's 6 Nations.

Of course, the chance of there being any bits of any Scottish players left after they've been flattened by the All Blacks is slim...

I watched Scotland v Wales in 1973. It cost 60p at the gate to get in.

Dare I ask what price a ticket these days, Kirst?

Well, the SRU are a bunch of idiots who'd rather have a stadium one-third full at £50 a ticket rather than reduce the tickets to a reasonable price and have a sold out game... It was a friend booked them and I think it's £30 for the All Blacks and £45 for the Wales game, and those are not the best seats.  >:( But, you take your chances to see the All Blacks when you can...

Much as I like Welsh rugby, I think that charging 50% more to watch them than the All Blacks is an example of skewed priorities.

The Six Nations games are always over priced though.

50 quid is the maximum price for a ticket.  I looked at the website last night and IMO the lower priced tickets are not too bad compared to other events.

And what is all this about the 'best seats'  ???  Corporate nonsense.  Get a ticket, watch the game, stop being so bloody 'Edinburgh'  :demon:

The last game I went to cost me £0 because I had a ticket for the press box. It was Twickenham 1986, Rob Andrew 21 - 19 Wales. I was sitting just in front of Gerald Davies and John Taylor and watching those two Gods having a natter was more enthralling than the rugby.

Rob Andrew was not one of our high points

He broke the points record for a player on his debut, previously held by Keith Jarrett (scored 19 points in Wales' 34 - 21 win v England in Cardiff, 1966). That's pretty impressive, and was he not a regular in the successful Will Carling side?

Not that good seats?

Whatever price it is does not really matter.  You either want to go or you do not.  'Best seats' 'good seats' or any seats.  Seats are usually available.  Whether you go for more expensive or not...depends what you want.

We have just sold our old car so we are now officially a one car household. It was the strangest car sale I have made. The bloke was happy to hand over the cash without actually starting the car and he didn't want a receipt. He said I looked like an honest bloke.  :o

I've just check last week's lottery tickets!!!

I got 5 numbers!!

£1506!!     ;D ;D

I have to split it seven ways though!  :-\

Still, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!

And I'm trying not to dwell on the fact that if we hadn't been just one number out all my financial worries would be over.  :'(

The tenants upstairs have buggered off, so no more noise and there is a hope that the leaks will stop too.
