I'm just recovering from monster portions of apple and blackberry crumble, and having spent a considerable while making a small amount of rosehip jelly. Fiddly job - I won't be rushing to do that again, though the result tastes jolly good.

I am trying to work up the enthusiasm needed to leave home/office at 1600 hrs to drive to Liverpool to start site work at 1800 hrs,leave site when the job is done(typically not before 2200 hrs & usually midnight)
This after spending the morning & early afternoon doing the normal site survey,do estimates & quotes & all the other normal routine.
Followed by being on site next morning,if not needed in the office, at 0800 hrs on a different L'pool site.
At least weekends have been normal 8 hr day shifts.
This has been the routine for 6 weeks & I'm getting to be disillusioned with capitalism

I am also permenantly tired & now know I am losing weight.That's not

Lying in bed, off sick and enlurgied, just starting to watch the extended version of the Lord of the Rings. I'm not sure how long it'll take me, but it's probably about 1½ hours per DVD over 6 DVDs.

Quite possible. I've watched two entire series of Futurama, but probably only saw about half of the episodes on average.

Looking for brake cables. The brake cable snapped this morning just as I was approaching the new not-a-roundabout madness at Westminster Bridge Road by Waterloo. Luckily it was just the rear, will probably just drop by the LBS on the way in to work tomorrow morning...

wondering why our IT team think it's funny that our entire company email system is going to be down for an hour.

Theres a time and a place for similey faces in emails, and telling 2,000 people that comms are down for an hour probably isnt one of them.
