Waiting for the footy to start (Yeovil v Exeter - what passes for a local derby and, I am told, the first time Exeter have ever played at Huish Park).

Not that I really care about the football. I need to go to the tip and it's just down the road from the ground. I have to wait for the traffic to settle down and for the crowd to be safely out of the way!

So how come Colchester United's highest attendance is greater than the capacity of their ground? Or have I misread the table?

The capacity figure may be out of date, or inaccurate given that lower league clubs still have terraces (the all-seater requirement only applies to Premiership clubs).

Colchester have recently moved to a new ground. Their old ground, Layer Road, was, I think (could well be wrong) the smallest in the Football League. I don't know how many it held, but I don't know how many the new ground holds either.
