Freya had a storm named after her by the Met Office last week*. She took her responsibilities very seriously by not going out and making sure the (indoor) kitchen mat didn't blow away by sitting on it.

*Well not actually named after her but we didn't tell her that

I've been to many football matches where the crowd has been "one person and their dog." Well, at Leek CSOB yesterday it was 63 persons and a ginger and white tom.

The cat watched all of the first half but left with 10 minutes to go to avoid the traffic no doubt. Leek won 3-1 if you are interested.

Kittens less than eight weeks old, two years ago

Two of them rule me now.

Edit : The top left is luna get down, who is still as fluffy now as then. While the little head just below her is Buzz Eclair stop that. He was the kitten no one wanted. The black and ginger kittens went quickly, while no one wanted buzz. But now they are there in my life....

Next door neighbour has recently welcomed a bengal kitten. Beautiful thing with an amazingly long tail and is also extremely inquisitive. I have never heard a cat/kitten growl before, i.e. when looking at birds whilst having tummy tickled. I can see some difficulties arising in future, keeping him away from them.
