15 (from first 4 questions, then zilch)/24/1

For those who missed it, one of the questions was who sang Barcelona. The contestant's answer was Freddie Mercury and Madame Cholet.

Because as much as I love the idea, it didn't actually happen. But how I wish it had.

27/24/2 (should have got Far, Far Away, but my heart sank when he went for the Slade questions.)
The years were easy today cos I saw TOTP The Story of 1985 a couple of weeks ago.  Children was Massive in 1996 - the year before my GCSEs, so I can place it pretty well.
It's also surprising how often listening to Pick of the Pops helps with the year questions.  It does, however, mean that you have to put up with Gambo...

If PotP ever gets handed to Chris Evans you'll want Gambo back!

Good one!  I guessed Dave & Ansil Collins, though I should really have known...

I missed part of the question: What was the Kenny Rogers connection to the subject 'Sevens'?

He was no.7 in the charts on 7/7/77, apparently.

Intrigued by the high scores posted here, I just played along to Friday's on the iplayer.

33 (all the bonuses)/21 (would have got 27 if I'd recognised that dirgey version of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun)/2 in ten but more once time was up
