Aye, nice fotie an' all that.
But actually a wee bugger of a climb further up the road, if it's where I think it is.
Up by Kinpurnie Castle?
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

You need more bikes in those photos, Andy!

If Arthur's willing, I'd like to nominate this one of his:

Yes. It is the high Kettins road. Leave Newtyle, turn left at the cross roads. It depends where you go after that as to whether you have a climb - Take your choice of Tullybaccart, Collace, North Balkello, or drift fast downhill to Coupar Angus.

Viewpoint - lying flat on my stomach on the verge to get that angle with the dandelions in. 21mm lens to drop the background and just get the riders big in the pic.

One of the better ones from that day.

I was fucking hammering it - the one and only time trial I've done so far - It was hard! I did it fixed, and mashed a load of dudes on bling-machines. 10 miles in 26 mins. When I get my Principia speed machine on the road next year they are all in trouble! :demon: ;)

I said it was a bit vain! ;) The editorial choice is yours - I would really like a YACF calender, regardless of persons depicted - do you think you have enough to work with?

Aye, we should be alright. A few more options wouldn't hurt though. I may extend the deadline if the next week brings up a bit more interest and I may even PM a few of those that have joined in the past month or so who have posted some very nice photos in other threads. I think the gallery section sometimes gets missed by a lot of people.

Some more inspiring/artistic shots certainly wouldn't go amiss but there's some very good stuff so far.

This one is slightly sadder

Reminds me of one of my own that I took by accident the other week:

I mean, if we're having shots of saddles, there should be a Brooks in there.

I'm intrigued.

Thought I'd let everyone see how it's going to look. Just used one of my own pics for demonstration purposes, it won't make the final cut.

I'm also having second thoughts on having a vote. It seems a bit unfair that some peoples favourites might end up not making the cut, so if nobody minds I might pick the best ones (ie the majority of what's been posted) and have at least 2 options for most months.
