Firefox query
« on: 18 April, 2008, 07:05:44 pm »
I've started using Firefox as my web browser, but I've notice that when I click on a URL in an e-mail that IE opens as well, however firefox opens the URL and IE doesn't do anything.

Is there any way to stop IE from opening?

Do you have Firefox as default browser??

Which e-mail client are you using?

Also worth checking (assuming Windows XP):
Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Set Program Access and Defaults.
Choose Custom, then for default web browser select "use my current web browser", and untick "enable access" for Internet Explorer.

Outlook 2003

I've looked at this, and will see what happens
