Fluffer, I took a lot on in my youth.

You really do know him well.  That seems like too much information though.

Were you involved in the sequels or just the original ?

My understanding was that Fluff was around for the original specialist movie "Andy does Kelvedon" but by the time the sequel "Andy does Ingatestone" came out Fluff was a healthcare professional.

I had my hands full I can tell you, it had me on my knees that job.

Maybe he could make a come back in an Audax themed porno?  :-*

Carlos does Colchester ?

I think its high time that me and Oaky's (or maybe it was just me?) idea of a sex shop audax is taken seriously.  The route incorporates sex shops and riders have to make a purchase in each to get a receipt as proof of passage.  I'm sure Tomsk will volunteer to organise it!

I think there could be an ACME award for the most unusual receipt as proof of passage on an Audax.

We did that for one of Grant's events.  I bought a bunch of flowers from the petrol station at Latchington and carried them for the rest of the ride but if I remember I was robbed of the prize by AndyC33333333333333333 who bought a dishwashing brush or somesuch.

When I organised someone handed me a receipt for 20 JPS Black.

(I think they had picked it out the bin at the petrol station - who said audaxers were tight)

A receipt for 20 litres of petrol on a 400 might be suspicious.  It was for a fire to keep me warm whilst I slept. Honest...

So what are the rules at the moment re meeting up and riding to the venue?

Errr, I think we should ride in groups of 6 or less.  Mind you I'm not sure I am 100% correct but it sounds sensible.
The rules are for exercise once per day and staying "local".
Current limit is up to 6 individuals or unlimited number from no more than two households. Same rule as for outdoor gatherings.
There is a limit of 15 individuals for organised sport or activitiies - that implies that there is a formal organiser who takes some level of responsibility, I wouldn't expect anyone to take on that level of "cat herding" without the formal protection of a proper organised ride.

You can do unlimited exercise outdoors but there are limits on the number of people you can exercise with.

I'll attempt to be there, but if I'm not, don't wait.

Is it a direct run from Spa or will it be the classic route via TMNH ?

It won't be the classic incorporating TMNH.
Think there will be at least 2 doing the direct route as we probably have an addition to the MEMWNS Witham Chapter Peloton this evening

Sounds like my kind of group.

I will be the guy with a carnation in his top pocket, waiting on the corner of Terling Road.

Wednesday 28th April
Totham Swan - 8pm

Table 1

1. Dirk
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

If that fills, the next person just needs to call them and book a further table.

I suppose it is possible we could have the wild westerners forming a splinter group.
