At least he's confirmed what everybody knew was speculating for months.

Talk about worst-kept secret...  ;D

I thought this had actually been official for a couple of months!

Hmmm, so will Boasson Hagan stay with Sky? I seem to recall he left HTC because, as a then sprinter, he wouldn't get TdF selection whilst Cav was there. And will Cav benefit from anything like the support he received at HTC to continue his record of TdF stage wins?   Time will tell I guess.

Cav won't get an 8-man lead-out at Sky but does he really need it? We'll see…

EBH has publicly stated that he's pleased to be on the same team as Cav but again it remains to be seen. But EBH isn't so much of a pure sprinter these days, is he? Could develop into a classics specialist à la Gilbert, I reckon. Maybe even a GC contender - he showed in the Dauphiné that he can climb.

I'm more surprised that Sutton hasn't jumped ship, tbh. Surely the writing is on the wall for him? I thought he'd go to Green Edge.
