On either side of one of the lanes local to me, two big logs (about 3 ft diameter) have been placed across field entrances. These logs are now being colonised by fungi (at least 5 types), and on Friday I went past about an hour before sunset.

Sat on top of a fallen Beech tree. Looks in the photo as if they're covered in frost. Quite pretty.

This amazing, delicate little toadstool was totally translucent - at the woods today.
