Despite David regularly spraying water on the strawberries and a fair number of flowers on the plants, this year's crop is stunted, scanty and tough.
There is always next year...

That's a shame. :(
The chap whose garden backs on to my plot looked like he was going to have a good crop until his dogs took a liking to them. :'( Apparently they love to eat them while they're still green.
I haven't been to my plot for a whole week so I'm wondering if I'll find it all withered this morning. I really must get in to a better routine. My only strawberries are a couple of plants in the flower bed at home, which are thriving on the attention I can devote to them there.
