Well past Villaines according to the tracker - the PBP computer needs to catch up!

About 30ish miles to Fougres now, I think he's collected a bad tracker chip.

What time, at the latest, does he need to upload yesterday's ride? Be a shame to lose a day because he got caught out between controls!

GO STEVE!!

Steve's PBP tracker seems not to have been late registering that he's been through FOUGERES (as per his live tracker) for some reason.

Go Steve!

It's showing Villaines now.
Not that it matters here as long as Steve's gear is working and recording all is fine and dandy.  ;)

GO STEVE!!

Within 24hrs. I believe the support vehicle is set up to do the uploads.

It loks like he is bouncing the controls, and that the controls are about 2 hours behind uploading the data.  He has just gone through Tinteniac.  Is he aiming to get as far as he can today, maybe Brest, then return tomorrow?

Pretty much looking that way..... GO STEVE GO!

Nothing up on Strava for yesterday yet - Steve's nearly in Carhaix, hopefully they will sort it out before it's too late!

Either the tracker's died on its arse or Steve's stopped at Carhaix.

Looking at Steve's riding of PBP, he's doing well enough to complete within the 90 hours and the overnight riding required with an evening start has certainly given him a good accumulation of distance. But I am slightly surprised by his average moving speed which has dropped to around 13mph. I would have thought that with the good roads, encouragement of the PBP supporters and the other riders, he'd have been riding faster. But perhaps he's just conscious of not overcooking things given that unlike almost all the other riders, he will have no recovery time after the event.
