A Humber or York night stop ready for return on Saturday with the cold northerly wind at his back?

Would make sense:
today is one of the few occasions that a big decisive change in wind direction is forecast with much certainty, with timings that he can, err ... "leverage".

Woodhall Spa at tea time. ISTR that there is a tea room there, although I doubt that it is open at this time on a November Friday.

woodhall spa is our usual dinner stop during easter arrow; there's a nice pub with a fireplace well suited to dry out wet gloves..

Looks like track from Messingham to Goole is missing from Strava,  presumably the post-midnight bit? Hope Steve won't miss out on these miles in the official record?  ???

It's included at the start of his next day's ride (see https://www.strava.com/activities/436984370) so shouldn't be a problem.

Ah yes - missed that - glad it wasn't missed. Previously it'd been a separate Strava ride so didn't spot it.
