2012 Photoday competition thread
« on: 25 November, 2012, 01:31:44 pm »
Up to two pictures each.  One must be on a recognisable cycling theme while the other can be of anything.  They must have been taken by you on 24th November 2012.

Remember...any old tosh looks good in a frame  ::-)

It was a really hard day to get anything, but I have two workmanlike shots.

Cycling: a choice of one here, so thank $DEITY it was in focus.  Minox 35GL, f/4, auto shutter. Fuji Neopan 400 in Rollei D74 developer.

If I'd had the Leica and 50mm lens, I would have done this crop instead.  The bokeh would also have been improved.

General: Sir John appreciating Mr Barlow's roof.  Same settings as previous photo.

Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

Indeed.  It's like the X-Factor; we don't open the lines until all acts have sung, or in Rylan's case, camped about onstage for five minutes for the lulz.

Right... I think this is my favourite of the day, although it looks uncharacteristically dry. Click for bigness.

I've started separate threads as I think we might end up with more photos than one thread can manage.  Could anyone who has already posted here re-post their photos in the appropriate thread, please?  I'll set up a poll after every entry is in.
