Sign-written Cars

I don't understand why people driving cars advertising their own business (or at least a small business) can't realise that poor driving is hardly a way to attract customers.

This morning I give you Absolute DJs of Manchester whose vehicle, a black Nissan Pathfinder registration J7 GDP which I met close to the website registrant's address.

They overtook passed barely passedme, drove in the cycle lane, tailgated the car in front and then blatantly ran a set of red lights.

If you are in the area you may want to use extra care when you see this Vehicle.

There was a letter in "Viz" some years ago, which asked (I paraphrase freely):

Why are those "Earn £1000 A Week - Ask Me How!" stickers always on the back of an F-reg Nissan Sunny?

Slightly off-topic perhaps, but maybe worth telling.

Back in the day I had a Belgian reg fully sign written team car over here.

So did another team official.

He drove in an "interesting" manner, I was regularly being given grief by people whom "I" had cut up over the previous days. For some reason they wouldn't believe that there were two near identical cars in the area.

I keep a Sharpie zip tied to my frame for those "scribbling down numberplates" moments.  It would come in handy for grammar correction as well...

I'm rather fond of the vans I occasionally see round here sign-written with "Welding Mobility And Son".
