Do you mean the Newcastle-London Ride 24? I've done that one........ good ride, very easy but dull route, main roady.
Fantastic food stations, you could spend all 24 hours in them. Never seen anything like it, full 5 course buffet. Organisation is clockwork. Brilliant bunch of people.

600 riders this year
could be a bit on the busy side
and tight for space
think the 1100 start is favourite for me so I can slide back through the field and find my level ::-)

number of riders now gone up to 1000
that will be busy
to set off in 3 waves @ 0900, 1030, 1200
just had e-mail to pick start time so chose 0900 1st and 1030 as 2nd choice
My cunning Baldrick type plan is....
with an early start I can drift back (as sure as night follows day) through the group(s and stay with some for longer, ish) before ending up in the snails  :smug:

magic, got my `early` start. 0900.
Hotel booked
Got to wait a week for train bookings to open.
more good news is there is a registration slot on the Friday night from 5 to 8 pm so no rushing about in the morning
all I need now is miles, miles and even more miles ;D
