Very nice bike.

Looking at how that lock is deployed though (s)he doesn't intend to keep it very long, eh?

The slackness of the chain and the lack of any toeclips on those pedals make me wonder whether that's a singlespeed rather than fixed (the hills + potholes that constitute Edinburgh's roads really make me hope it's got a freewheel!). But only one brake....

Singlesepeed?  Only one brake?

Yep, didn't think about it till after I'd wandered off.

There are always couriers parked outside there (it's a printer place) so I'll likely see it again for another gander.

Why not?  No q/r parts to nick.

Indeed.  But leaving loads of space inside the shackle just invites a potential jacker.  :(

I did that to a lock once. I was surprised at how short a time it takes (scissor jack, ten seconds.)

I wouldn't steal that

In fact you'd have to pay me to take it away, and only then under cover of darkness.  In heavy disguise.  With no moon.  After everyone else on the planet was too dead to see me with it.

Did I mention that i don't much like it ?

I'd have that but with black tyres and bar tape, a different chain, a rear brake and proper brake levers, a different saddle, proper mudguards and SPDs. I'm not a fan of yellow.

That's quite nice. I'm surprised at the amount of folk who seem to dislike it. It's not that offensive is it? Doesn't bode well for what folk would think of what I've had my eye on the past couple of days. Obviously those horrible riser bars would be replaced with some nice track drops but I'm very tempted.

I like it, but the gold (and slack) chain reminds me of Bobby George.
