Another day, another race, another photo. And this time it *is* in the sport section.

We have just been to Ribble armed with gift vouchers and I am now the happy owner of a new Topeak Track Pump, a Lusso base layer in black, a Topeak multitool and a big bottle of Orange flavoured PSP stuff. I can't decide whether to blow something up, deliver a box of Milk Tray, take something apart or just drink myself silly.  ;D

That list of options qualifies you as the next James Bond :)

The wallet which I was certain I'd put in my pocket this morning, but wasn't there when I went out at lunchtime, was at home all day.

Cos I did not go out to the Alps for some mtbing this year, I did not spend my stash of euros from Easter time. Found stash during token desk clearing and made 40 sobs on poor exchange rate. This will pay for a trip to Bath next week to watch the rugby.....

I cleaned the kitchen and started to put the kitchen back into the kitchen, a very weird feeling.

While Peli was cooking  :o in our kitchen  :o , though we have forgot how to use the oven, as we forgot to set the temperature when we turned it on so cooking took a bit longer than planned. And we forgot to add the red peppers to the roasting potatoes... we get there we will get there :)

woolly & peli - glad the kitchen is getting back together.  Sad news is that you now have to start cooking properly again instead of nuking everything.  Takes longer but it is worth it and makes a good bottle of wine taste much better.

Enjoy.

My gran gave me £20 for christmas which I have just spent on a new vellum, tuners, bridge and strings for the knackered old banjo-mandolin I picked up cheap a year ago, so I'll finally be able to play it

I just phoned my daughter to wish her a happy 28th birthday and her husband answered. We were on speakerphone intending to sing HBTY to her. S-i-l said that on speakerphone I sound like God. O:-)

Good son-in-law, that.

I've just been offered some more work - on a Saturday! I've accepted.

It's only an hour a month but it's a nice gentle 9-mile-round-trip commute. First session 7th Feb, with ten G & Ts. (That's Gifted & Talented Children. I prefer ale.)
