PROPOSED ROUTE which the Witham peloton might like to follow this evening.  1900hrs launch from Spa Road roundabout unless anyone has any objections

If this is the proposed route I'll intercept you shortly before the Colchester training ground at Tiptree.

I'm in. Cheers Tippers

Don't forget your budgie smugglers!

Is this some new initiation ceremony? Does it involve pickled eggs?

You've guessed and spoiled the surprise now  :'(

No, but the bubble machine might.

It's about time I showed my face agian, so I shall be at Spa at 19:00 hrs.

Can't stay too late, as I have to be up early in the morning, but it will be nice to get out and see everyone :)

I'm planning to be at the roundabout at 1900.  If I'm running late, I'll try to intercept by Screwfix.

That'll of been Nik's cocktails.  My head was a bit fuzzy this morning  ::-)  Yes thanks tippers, you did us proud, we may come again

And now to Tomsk's Public Service Announcement regarding lots of broken glass and bits of burnt car on the A12 cycle path.  I was riding behind Nik's Nik carefully looking out for said broken glass and burnt bits, ready to shoulder Dakota and avoid disaster.  Approaching the danger area NN decided to tip his bidon over his head which I found rather distracting as I was now getting wet.  NN was also distracted so didn't spot the broken glass and burnt bits, neither did I, nor did the riders in front of NN.  Suffice to say we all rode through the obstacle, despite Tomsk's warning, but thankfully got away with it.  Next time Tomsk, don't bother, save your breath, nobody gives a toss  ::-)  ;D

Good to see everyone again.   Been an odd few days.   Thanks to Tippers for his hospitality.

I had a really enjoyable solo ride home in the dark.   I realised how little night riding I have done this year.

Hello everyone,

I usually ride alone but I really do need to find some friends. This happened on Strava last night so I am calling it fate:

I think I'm fairly good company and I'm not too annoying.

All the best,
Nick.
