Excellent. I'll get a couple of boxes from Colchester brewery sorted tomorrow. Let me know if there are any preferences or if you are happy with a selection

Surprise me!

Mermaid sold out in a day at the OT yesterday so might be worth a look from Colchester?

Yes please - easy day workwise on Thursday for a change! Happy to chip in for drinks.

Can WAGS and hangers-on come too? (Soupy would drive, then Mrs T could have a drink.)

I’m not particularly sure how this week will go so not making a lot of plans.

Where do you live Tippers ?

What time were you thinking to start Tippers?

Also, could you PM me the address please? I think I've worked out the road (it's one of the one's with a bird-themed name!), but need confirmation of the number.

Anytime after 6 is good for me so happy for you to all show up when it suits. I'll drop you a PM now.

I think I've worked out that Tippers has invited everyone round for some non-cycling. Which is fair enough in this heat. Is there a Witham peloton this evening?

This evening?  Its only Tuesday?  Aren't we going to Tipper's Vegas Stylee Pool Party on Wednesday (i.e. tomorrow) evening?  Or am I missing something vital?

You? Slow?  Only onna bike... ;D
No - my fault, got my days mixed up.
So: will there be a Witham peloton tomorrow? Which is good news for me, more likely to be able to make it.

Phew, I thought it was me getting confused!  Like that ever happens!  ::-)

Yes there will be a Witham peloton, at the very least it'll have me in it.  Rather than debate the matter should we agree on a 1900hrs launch and keep this as the default option until further notice?

BBQ will be available if anyone wants to bring their own BBQ food to cook. I'll whip up a green salad and a couscous salad for sustenance

Sounds good to me! I'll consult the family - I've also been offered the team car for the return trip, but the only two bikes that will go in the boot, with all seats taken, are the folder and the road bike (with wheels out) hmmm, which needs least fettling?

A plastic garden makes a fantastic bivvy spot for the family Tomsk, just saying ;D

They'd sleep better outside too! Some sleep-deprived people in the family will be napping this afternoon I think. With all the outdoor work and cycling, I'm immune to it now - mad dogs and Audaxers etc ...

Thanks Tippers!  We'll be along at 18:30 and take up the offer of use of the BBQ for our dinner.

I should be along, even if I need to solo ride over later than the peloton launch from Witham.

I've got my hands on 24 bottles of Colchesyer Brewery assorted beers (4 beers, 6 bottles of each) and a Mini Keg of Black Fox Porter from Coggeshall so should be something for all.
Pool warming up and beer cooling nicely
