Start -> Programs -> System Tools on old Windoze but it's probably disappeared on newer versions.
System Tools is in Accessories on Win7 , & still has the character map in it.

I sold a bike yesterday. It was the bendy bike, so I'm quite happy about being N-1.

I thought about it and realised that this is the first bike I've sold since I traded in my Raleigh RSW11  against a Dawes Chevron in 1973. All bikes since have been ridden until expired.

Today I received possibly the loveliest thank you card from a student in over 40 years' teaching. When I get close to a scanner I might well share it.

Two votes for fixed (CrinklyLion & Lt. Col. Larrington (retd.)), none for gears.  So I doned 13 km on Depravo the Roadrat this evening.  Albeit in two parts.  Nothing b0rked or fell off and I started to get the hang of clipping in by the time I got to Wanstead.

Only hurting a bit in hands, elbows, shoulders, neck and arse.  I may have to break out the b*bsh*rts tomorrow ;D

Feck me!  It's slightly alarming to think that someone might actually listen to something I say about bike-riding... especially in relation to gearing questions...

Well done petal!

I'm sure many are now pondering the possible connection between It's Bruce's and Mr Larrington's posts.

I got an email offering a rather smaller rebate from HMRC.  If I just provided them with all my bank details, secret codes and so on.
It was, of course, a phishing email.

Took my son to school, then walking back through the trees by the hospital then along the top of the ridgy bit with views way out to Freezing Hill and Dundry, it struck me more than usual how I like living in this area.

Also, I find I have finished the work that was due in at 12, so I have two hours to do - er - maybe some tea drinking!

He is now on a par with big sister so harmony is restored.
