Mark Reilly RIP

I know that Mark Reilly was not everyone's favourite person on this forum but he was one of the pioneers of titanium frames in the UK.

The company that he founded with Neil Fitzgerald in 2014 has announced that he has died at the age of 53.  There is an article about this together with a tribute by Jo Burt over on the road.cc website.

That's sad.

My Enigma frame (designed by him) is lovely.

I still ride my Omega. It's a competent machine and rides well.

Blimey.
I understand that he's not on the Xmas card list of a few on here. I've never had any dealings with him, but 53 is no age at which to be checking out. RIP.

I met him once. Seemed like a nice enough chap. That's shockingly young.

It is indeed no age for any person to pass.  Another "youngster" to pass this week was mentioned elsewhere aged just 51.    I am beginning to consider my mortality.   :(

Sad news, one of the first to offer Ti forks. They recalled the forks for some reason? Never died when touring in the Alps, they are still on the bike.
