Van Moof are releasing an electric bike with motor on each wheel.

Looks interesting

Regulator:
Why have dual suspension *and* fat tyres?

Looks to me like someone's decided to make the 'ultimate' bike as dreamt by someone who doesn't know much about bikes...

freeflow:
It does look rather ugly and uncomfortable..

DuncanM:
What does 2wd offer?  There's not going to be many situations where you can get the giant rear tyre to slip with only 1kW of motor. And given you are going to have more weight on that one than the front one, there's going to have to be an interesting torque split to ensure the rear wheel is the first one to slip. The whole thing looks like a solution in search of a problem.
