Plain biscuit: Oreos, or Jammy dodgers, or party rings
Chocolate biscuit: Plain chocolate digestive or Chocolate shortbread that Cadbury now do.
Wrapped biscuit: Viscount

I'm also a big fan of making regular digestives into chocolate digestives by melting chocolate and then spreading a chunk on as thick as the biscuit itself.  :D

I can't believe the Tunnocks caramel wafer even features here.  Nasty dry little things that suck the moisture out of your tongue and then slap a sweet, sticky, immoveable turd to the roof of your mouth, which your newly-wafered parched tongue is unable to dislodge.  I've actually had tongue-cramp trying to eat the damn things.  One of the few biscuits I might turn down, other than out of audax-induced necessity.

Hmmm, I'm swayed by the HobNob but, all things considered it must be the plain McVities Digestive.

A simple nibble renders them a perfect fit into most mugs for that perfect dunk.

It would be easier to list those biscuits that I do not like.It would be a very short list.

A list with nothing on it, I would imagine.

Plain biscuit: Ginger
Chocolate biscuit: Wagon wheel.  Yeah, I know it's wrapped, but then I couldn't choose:
Wrapped biscuit: Tunnock's Caramel Wafer
Savoury biscuit: scottish oatcakes

Have you been comparing notes with Marj then?

Plain biscuit: Doves Farm organic wholewheat digestive (warning: once tried you will never go back to industrial digestives)

Chocolate: Chocolate Oliver (comfortingly expensive)

Wrapped: Natural bars (but probably not classed as a biscuit)

Savoury: Bath Oliver (plus your choice of cheese, spread, pate, whatever)

You're weird:D

Note to road-runner and rogerzilla - Clubs and Viscounts are wrapped biscuits. You're supposed to take the paper and foil off, you know.

All the best chocolate biscuits are wrapped.

If I can't have Viscounts then I'll have some of the ones from an M&S chocolate biscuit selection.  Not the white chocolate ones though; white chocolate is just lard and sugar

They’re singular, they’re fingular,
They’re biscuits without any bends,
They’re long and little, they start at the middle
And come to a stop at the ends.

They’re long and thin
With a chocolate skin —
Like sticks in chocolate silk
But the most singular thing
In a finger is …
Cadbury’s Dairy Milk!

I’m a Jamaican ginger grower and I very proudly say,
I grow the finest ginger in the world today.
I picks the best and packs it and McVities comes to buy it,
Then they bake it into gingernuts you really ought to try it.
You snap into a McVities gingernut — you tastes it too
Jamaican ginger — the world’s best — is waiting for you.

I knows it … I grows it!

Do you try and nibble round the cow?

Sainsbury's have changed the design of their malted milk biscuits - as well as tasting a bit nasty, the baby cow has gone  >:(

Ginger nut
Chocolate hobob
TUNNOCK'S CARAMEL WAFER! ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES!
Nairn's rough oatcake

But I'm a right biccy tart.  I don't think there's one I won't enjoy.

Have you tried the ginger crinkles from Sainsburys? I think that they have the edge over your common or garden ginger nut. Unless you are dunking, then I would go for the ginger nut, but can understand why someone may still go for the ginger crinkle as their preferred dunker.
Chocolate Hobnobs.
I don't go for wrapped biscuits. I can't be doing with faffing around. But if Kit Kats count, then it has to be a Kit Kat Chunky.
Cheddars are my preferred savory biscuit.

Not too fussed about biscuits but garibaldis are pretty good.

And why has no one mentioned FIG ROLLS?

It seems that Jasmine, who? must be a freshman! is the only  other one with taste.
I'll second digestive but with cheese and choccy ones taken neat.

Tammies of course (up thread) are Penguins with an Oz name. I think the Penguin version are better :P
