Lovely, what breed are they?
British shorthair silver. Quite old now - 15. Sisters but totally different characters - and size!
They are beautiful. I had a British Shorthair blue, called Milly, she was a very aloof cat but would sit on me if I was in pain. She died about three years ago. I miss her.
These two are quite friendly and very undemanding. They make great house cats. They belonged to my partner's mother who died last year (Covid) and very rarely went outside until they were 14 - spoiled rotten with freshly prepared chicken daily, etc.

They were therefore greatly surprised by anything flying or crawling when introduced to the garden - pigeons would send them scurrying for cover
. Happily, they are slowly adjusting to a more normal existence. They've even made friends with a local group of feral cats and seem to be able to stick up for themselves.
