Our dishwasher went wrong recently, and when the repairman came to look at it , he'd said it had been used as a lovely warm home and the wiring had been eaten by small furry creatures......   which was mice......

I had a biscuit with my tea. It wasn't a nice, it was a bourbon.

I poured some bourbon, and had a bourbon biscuit with it. Which was doubly nice. Had I gone to the south of France first it would have been triply nice.

But isn't Tripoli somewhere which, currently, is not nice?

Saw a thing on the news the other day.  The Gubbinsment wants to build new "Garden Cities" all over the shop.  One of them would be an extension to a town in Oxfordshire.  Which is Bice...ster.

Somehow I don't think they will be building low density to the acre in new garden cities. (and of course the supporting infrastructure will follow years behind as usual).

The road where I got knocked off my bike was just on the news. It's the residents wanting the speed limit reduced to 10mph because there are so many accidents there. My view of that road as being bloody horrible has been vindicated. Which was nice.
