Sometimes camping can be worse than camping.  Cycle camping a few years ago (apparently this is now bikepacking).  Left my carradice saddlebags in the porch of the tent, while I went out for the day,  Then brought one of the saddlebags into the tent as a pillow.   Woke up I  the early hours ....

Cycle camping a few years ago (apparently this is now bikepacking).

Only if you don't use proper panniers.

Of course, slugpacking can be done with any kind of luggage...

Bzzzttt! Slugs don't have any luggage whatsoever. They're the ultraracers of the invertebrate world. The ones with organic Ortliebs are snails.
