Pleaded guilty to whacking a female police officer back in April.  He's bee ruled out of the World Cup squad.

About time he grew up.  Even as a huge England fan, I'm glad Stuart Lancaster won't pick him now.  It's the only way he'll learn!.

I remember the Swede who managed the English football team refusing to select convicted thugs, because as he put it, if convicted thug fans weren't allowed to travel to matches, why should he allow convicted thug players?

I was going to say it's the only way others will learn - but as Jaded notes, Cipriani obviously hasn't.
