After missing out on the York Leeds York sportive a couple of weeks earlier I got up super early and drove down from Lincolnshire to Crewe to start a new cyclosportive for me; namely The Cheshire Cat.
This was a fun sportive from start to end, most of the action was heavily weighed at the start of the race ride with a tough climb up "Mow Cop". This was followed by a few more local hills and then a speedy/flat return back in the direction of Crewe (if it wasn't for the wind!).
Great early season sportive - I'd recommend everyone go give the Cheshire Cat and the Mow Cop hill climb a good shot in 2020!
