A children's picture book about car safety, road safety and the highway code.
Harey, the hare-brained rabbit, and his friends go driving their cars, but he does not obey the highway code. He has to be persuaded to wear his safety belt after he has driven out of his garage straight into tree. He then drives out of the drive onto the road without looking where he is going, drives on the pavement and fails to stop at red traffic lights where he knocks down Pillow the parrot on the pelican crossing.

It probably is true, since few people die of a broken collarbone. Likewise, most people die in hospital.

To give them credit, when the DfT published the infamous 'whack kids without helmets' game, CAPT supported CTC in getting the game pulled.

And as the strapline is 'preventing accidents', maybe some mention of cycle training might be more positive than helmet promotion?

Actually - taken together, those synopses are starting to sound (a) sadisitic and (b) self-defeating, in that it's always Harey who gets hurt (ergo, the damage can't be *that* bad, or he'd be dead :demon:)
