Broccoli, blue cheese and walnut risotto.  Very nice, but very naughty.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

I have had a very long day, so supper is a salad of tomato and feta, with some wild stuff that might be edible. It tastes like thyme, but I really don't know what it is.

I am a bit sozzled, and need some serious carbo thingy stuff.

Serious late night noodley German stuff is currently being prepared. A frightening amount of grated Swiss heart valve stopping loveliness is sitting in a big stainless steel bowl, accompanied by a little tub of liquid fat cream.

Day off tomorrow, so a recipe might be posted.

Tonight will be Chicken Cacciatore, broccoli and saute potatoes.  And we're making quince jelly and quince paste from our best ever crop (ok, about 2 dozen quinces from our small tree  :) )

Katsu curry!  Fromma kit.  Well impressed with the sticky rice that boils in a magic bag.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Microwaved supermarket paella, with a glass of red. When I've finished I'll move the workstand and tools out of the kitchen area and catch up on 3 days of washing up     :-[

Chicken and leek pie. Chicken, leeks and onions from our veg (1) box. Sauce made using stock I'd made and frozen a few weeks before.  Pastry model's own.

Lovely it was too.

A throw together gratin dish: potatoes, garlic, mozzarella, creme fraiche, mushrooms and bay leaf with parmesan  sprinkled liberally on top.

Pesto and spaghetti.

Pesto home made by Mrs. Hall. This is something she does incredibly well.

See that shop bought jar of pesto? That's rubbish that is. And too salty.
