I have F & R Cycliq cameras of original vintage. Still going strong and I run them on camera only to give better usage out of the old batteries
Over the years, as in last couple, various little niggles have beem overcome
Until now
Card used is mico sd . will not allow me to erase data not required after a ride or even format
Using the sd adaptor all I get is that the card is write protected
Adaptor is, `unlocked`, so how do I unlock the micro sd card
Having thought of removing the small V shaped bit on a spare card decided to try you
genious`s out there first

What are you putting it into?

I know that Macs treat some cards as read only if they use the wrong file system, for example.

AFAIK MicroSD cards don't have a write-protection feature. So it is possibly the adapter at fault here. That said, the write protect slider is entirely physical - when an SD card is 'locked', there's no electrical different relative to when it is unlocked. Is that slider in the fully 'up' position?

Is this happening with more than one MicroSD card?
Does it happen if you use another MicroSD card adapter?

Just trying to determine whether it's an issue with the adapter or the MicroSD card recepticle.
