Sorry, I meant 'ah, BBC' in that I don't have the BBC. Well, we finally extricated ourselves from the TV licence anyway a few months back. But I would watch it otherwise, as I loved the movie.

The Big Flower Fight on Netflix is worth watching - it's yet another variant on the competitive crafts theme, following the same tired formula as the rest of them, but it's the cast of characters that really makes it. They've gone to great lengths to make sure all the diversity boxes have been ticked, and it's all the more watchable for it.

One of the judges is called Kristen Griffith-Vanderyacht, and lives up to his name.

It's spelled "Griffith-Vanderyacht" but it's pronounced "Throatwobbler-Mangrove"?

Buffy The Vampire Slayer, E4 2310. Go on, you know you want to.

We did - Ep1 was good. Certainly better than most current "hit" US series!

Cardinal is on BBC2 tonight.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Cardinal is on BBC2 tonight.

I just saw the trailer and it said tomorrow...  ???

I bet that's my wife confusing me by watching a recorded programme from yesterday.

I see they've sneaked a new series of QI out without me noticing.

War and Peace on BBC iPlayer

I missed this first time round but it just popped up on iPlayer. Watched the first episode last night and it was excellent. Great cast, Brian Cox, Ade Edmundson, Gretta Scacchi, Gillian Anderson, Rebeccas Front.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Just dicovered 'i may destroy you' and have devoured it on IPlayer.
You may remember Michaela Coel in other BBC efforts like Black Earth Rising, but this is a completely different role to anything I've seen her do before.
Apparently written and produced by her.
Highly recommended.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

^ The writeup about it made it sound a bit hard hitting and hard going for a pleasant night in.

Couldn't find it on iPlayer either. All the episodes which seemed to be available were ones we had already watched. No matter. GetiPlayerAtomator will sort.

Trying to find things on Amazon Prime before we cancel it.

Watching Mr Robot - not convinced, it requires actual attention to follow what's going on (so I can't watch and browse/work) but I don't know that it pays off on the effort required.

Chernobyl is being repeated, first episode of five, this Friday 9pm, on Sky Atlantic.
If you missed it last time, don't miss it again.

Not tonight, but no doubt on iPlayer if you missed the beginnings Once Upon a Time in Iraq. What an indictment of the invasion. Blistering stuff.

We just finished watching DEVS.
It was alright, but yeah it took too long to get to the end and nothing really happened.
Still, it looked nice.

^ Watched the last episode this evening.  I thought it was rather poor - bad enough that I resented watching the second half of the series just to see where they were going.  Some immensely poor acting/script-writing.
