I found that sidewall failure was why my last few 25mm ones needed replacing. The pink is the inner carcass showing through. This is one of my krylions from the middle of the Lincoln 400 in 2013: -


Pro 4 endurance's seemed to get better sidewalls as I haven't had the same problem with them.

It more as if the pink carcass material is liquefying and coming through in globules - particularly noticeable near the “carbon” text, if you can zoom in.

I’ll confess that it is a while since that wheel has turned.
