Is it any good though? In my experience, tea/coffee and cake tends to be good to excellent at art galleries/stately homes/&c, and passable to execrable at science/transport museums (with the honourable exception of the Wellcome Collection); the ££ aspect can generally be assumed...

Just finished the Inlaw Paw's last tax return, going to drop it into the tax office this afternoon.

One for the "like a f*cking div" thread: thought I had until Friday, but noticed when I checked the address that it was due Wednesday. Missed deadline = automatic 10% penalty. Almost a fecking div.

Took best part of an hour, but then took another hour, after I arrived at the surgery, to be seen. Same outcome as you. I hate this medication I am on, but trying to get my specialist to allow me to stop taking it is akin to pissing in the wind.

I've just moved all the very heavy hifi kit off the rack, and am now dusting & cleaning the rack & the area behind it. I've not done this for several years

Trying to persuade myself that clicking on 'spend' for a bass guitar kit is a really bad idea...

...At least until I have a shed to put the stuff that shouldn't be in the garage into and then the work bench into the garage where it should be*.

* the Crapocaster was built on a workmate which only adds to my indecision.

Trying to do a spot of gardening. All I've managed is to mow the lawn and a bit of ~~weeding~~ damage limitation in the flowerbeds. I have to keep coming inside. It's just too hot. (Not that I'm grumbling about that, mind.)

whiling away a long weekend in Baku.

When we planned this job, the client didn't tell us that Monday is a public holiday here. I asked if I could join my colleagiue offshore over the weekend, but apparently no-can-do.

So today has been, yoga, breakfast, work catch up 1, wander around the old city a bit, lunch, work catch up 2, run, shower and now head to the bar for a glass of wine and a bit of a read followed by work catch up 3.

Repeat tomorrow and Monday
