Bagged 3 yesterday: Campagman, Paul H & Si Davies all together at the CTC (We Are Cycling) Annual shindig in Brum.

Brilliant event.

thought I spied a lemon yellow YACF jersey going the other way to me through Littleport this afternoon. If so I'm guessing it may have been Wobbly John OTP

Cream rather than lemon, but probably me on the way back from the Wing Camping weekend/Appolo's bike handover.

It was very, very good. I'll go into more detail if needed, but in brief - despite the presence of a great Olympian, mtb champ and other greatandgood - the stars were two women who conduct slow rides around Edgbaston reservoir.

Add good food, free bidons and mugs and several great interviews, and you have a lovely, reaffirming, cycle-centered event.

Right; will have to hope it's in Brum next year, and block-book the date well in advance...

This weekend I saw Rich Forrest in a field, which is not unusual, but also the rarer spot of Jen M, which was a nice surprise.  :)

That Meddyg, in my kitchen, drinking tea.

Nice guy.  He looks exactly as you think he does.

Hope the planned ride you are leading goes well on Sunday.
Unfortunately, we're entertaining and will be out, so I won't be able to hurl abuse at you all as you pass the house.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Bianchi Boy: crossing Culham Bridge this morning in a pack of clubmates, whilst I skulked along the pavement contra-flowwise, nursing a squealing BB home.

He spotted me first, possibly due to my new and  unusually yellow winter jacket.

Visiting the ancestral homelands. He was looking well - said he'd lost 3 and a half stone recently, so he looked much the same as you'd remember.

I saw him coming, and I thought "that's weird, he's dressed just like MSeries used to dress". And so it was - he's not retro, he's original.

I was at the front and spotted you first....I said to BB that we should've invited you to join us an an honoury guest.  We battled the headwinds to Millets Farm and had a very fast ride back with a string tailwind
