Hmmm.
it's a shame he reached the top then has had problems, given all the stronger members of the top 4 are all having problems.

TBH I'd like to see the mens game have more No 1s, and get away from the personal dominance that we've had over the last two decades.

Watching the French Open, yet again impressed by Andy Murray's ability to just keep fighting back.

Murray through to the 1/4 final in straight sets, although he was playing a girl.

Johanna Konta: Injured

Surprised she isn't concussed after that fall - and it came a couple of games after she'd asked the umpire to check the dampness on the court.

It must be nerves, but Konta is playing appallingly at the moment - can't seem to get the ball in the court; grabbing at it.

I haven't managed to see a single Konta match. Is she any good?? Can she go further?

She is very good, and seems to be developing a Murray-like ability to keep fighting back from behind. If she can beat Venus in the semi-final, I think she'll win the final, but Venus is playing well, and well, she's Venus.

There surely can't be many times that anyone's lost their serve three times in the fourth set, but gone on to win the fifth...?  Not looking good for Murray!

Hip. Shame.

Federers starting to crack. Hasn't broken Raonic's serve yet.

Groan. As there's no one left to beat Federer it'll be another bloomin' Grand Slam for him. I realise Federe is bloody good, but I have never been able to warm to the guy.

I like him - as should anyone who appreciates true sporting grace.  He probably still doesn't care though!
